A Suffolk Climate Change Partnership, comprising all Suffolk Local Authorities, including Suffolk County Council and East Suffolk Council has been set up and has a core focus on tackling domestic energy efficiency and fuel poverty in Suffolk. It is a crucial element in its ambition to be the county with the greatest reduction in carbon emissions alongside improving the health and wellbeing of it's residents.
Kesgrave Town Council has engaged with this initiative.
The first step it is taking is to help increase public awareness of this initiative, promote simple things people can do to reduce their carbon footprint and try to estimate Kesgrave's current community carbon footprint so that ongoing progress can be measured year on year.
