Household Waste Recycling Centres

Covid 19 - Suffolk's Recycling Centres are remaining open in the national lockdown, although Re-use shops on site are closed.

Current Government advice is to stay at home and not leave your home, except where necessary. You may leave your home to visit a Recycling Centre if you consider this to be a necessary journey.

Foxhall Road Household Waste Recycling Centre (HWRC) is the nearest recycling centre to Kesgrave and is located at:

  • Foxhall Road, Brightwell IP10 0HT (near to the A12 roundabout)

Re-Use Shop

The site also accepts good quality items (including furniture, toys, bicycles, books, electrical items and more!) for re-use in the shop to help raise funds for The Benjamin Foundation Charity.

NB - Following government lockdown guidelines regarding non-essential shops, the Foxhall and Bury St Edmunds re-use shop will temporarily close due to the new COVID restrictions from 27th December until further notice.

All Suffolk Recycling Centres are currently accepting the following items for re-use: TVs, Monitors, PCs, Sky boxes, DVD players, Consoles, Laptops, Audio, Power tools, Bikes, Dyson's, Henry’s, Mowers and Strimmers. Please donate items in the orange Re-use containers on site. You must book an appointment to drop off re-use items at any Suffolk Recycling Centre.
