Suffolk Constabulary - Specials online recruitment event - 13 Jan 6pm

The force is holding an online recruitment event with a view to joining the force’s Special Constabulary.

Taking place on Thursday 13 January between 6pm and 7.30pm this online event will cover what it's like being a volunteer police officer in Suffolk, the recruitment process, including the application and assessment centre.

You will also have the opportunity to speak to serving Specials to find out about their experiences and to ask any questions you may have. The event is via Microsoft Teams and a link will be sent to you on the day of the event.

Karen Harris, Citizens in Policing Manager, said "The turn of the year is always traditionally seen as an opportunity to try something new and challenging. We are seeking applicants from all communities in our county so if you have 16 hours a month to offer us, anytime of day or night and are interested in finding out more please come along to this online event. Specials are an integral part of our organisation, they are extremely valued and valuable, all of our Special officers are highly trained and play an essential role in preventing, reducing and tackling crime and keeping Suffolk safe.”
