  • Sunday 19th – Summer is here. We are making an iced drink collage today.

Activities are free. Parents must stay with under eights.

Summer Reading Challenge

This year’s theme is Gadgeteers – all about science and inventions. In July’s edition we will be detailing all the times we are offering the challenge. It is open to all children from pre-school upwards.

Every year we have a team of twenty+ volunteers who help library staff run the challenge all through the school holidays. If you are interested in becoming a volunteer this year, please pop in and speak to a member of staff. You can apply to volunteer at Kesgrave Library from the age of twelve.

Home Library Service

If you would like to access the library but are unable to visit us, Kesgrave runs four home library routes where volunteers come out with a selection of books to your homes.

To access this service please ring the library or log on the Suffolk Libraries website and complete the online form.

Book Donations

We are now able to take good quality fiction donations again – both adult and children. These will be available for sale on our bookshelf in Tesco. The money raised from these items, helps to support your county library service – thank you for your support.

Printing and Photocopying

Did you know that you can print and photocopy items at your local library? Printing starts at 20p per single-sided B&W sheet and photocopying at 10p per single-sided sheet. We can also print and photocopy in colour up to A3 size. Please pop in or ring for more details.

Don’t have a library card?

All you need is some form of ID which has your name and address on it – a driving license or council tax bill is ideal, and we can issue you a card straight away. Children under 16 need an adult with them at time of sign up and an adult to act as guarantor.
