2nd Kesgrave Brownies (Term Time)

The Brownie Adventure is a balanced programme full of fun and exciting challenges for Brownies aged 7 to 10 years old.

Brownies are encouraged to make their own decisions and to be involved in planning their activities. We work in ‘Sixes’ and each Six has a leader.

At Brownies we like to complete challenges, make things, play games and make friends.

We go on days out and some units even go on Brownie pack holiday and stay overnight.

Brownies do good turns and try to help other people. We all wear Brownie uniform to show that we belong.

Whether your daughter wants to join Rainbows (5-7), Brownies (7-10), Guides (10-14) or Rangers (14-18), start her Girlguiding journey here. Begin by registering her interest and finding out about units in your area.

Adventure, fun and friendship starts here.

How registration works

  1. Register your interest – you'll be asked for your contact details and a few key pieces of information about your daughter.
  2. Choose the best unit for you – we'll use your details to suggest several local units. Then it's up to you to select the most convenient one. You can choose up to three location preferences.
  3. We'll get in touch – someone from your chosen unit will contact you, usually within three weeks. They can explain to you about meetings times, costs, what's planned for the term and if there's a waiting list.
  4. Try guiding out – if spaces are available, the unit will arrange a trial meeting for your daughter to attend. This gives you and her an idea of what guiding is all about – we're sure you will love it!
