>> Drop In Centre Project Background
The Drop In was one of a number of projects being undertaken, or worked on in partnership with other organisations, by the Kesgrave and District Youth Forum (KDYF).
In fact this project was a working party of the KDYF with the objective of running a drop in and putting on events for the young people in the Kesgrave area.
The first stage, from September 05 through to July 06, was to run a pilot to identify the need. This we achieved. We then gained funding to pay for accommodation and a team of three to run meetings on a Tuesday evening at the Kesgrave Youth Club until July 07. This money has now run out and the project has stopped. Currently there are no plans to restart it.
